The APM History
The concept of APM was brought to life in WWA at 1997. The main goal was to provide doctors with distributed medical data management solution. The first version of APM was released for internal use as a feasibility test for implementation of such a solution for the medical market.
In 1998, APM2, was released after working tightly with plastic surgery departments in public medical centers along with several private plastic surgeons. APM2, set to answer the clinical aspects of patient management, mainly smart EMR with integration capabilities to the Surgeon Pro and Medical albums. APM2 had large scale capabilities supporting multiple users and distributed work, allowing doctors to work offline in remote sites, outside of their native network.
The current version, APM3, was released in 2002. It is the culmination of a design process that took nearly 3 years and 5 years of accumulated knowledge in the field. The design process included surveys conducted at private clinics, which were patient oriented and flexible in working procedures, public medical centers that had tougher regulations, less flexible work process, and private medical centers that set in the middle.
The aim of the APM3 was to cover the patient cycle from patient inquiry to post operative procedures, setting the focal point on your patient. Today APM3, is a part of the ever-growing MOS3 Solution Suite for the aesthetic market, allowing you to benefit from years of experience and devotion, all for the success of your practice.
